1.) What are the differences and similarities between wedding cinematography and wedding videography?

Wedding cinematography is a fancy word for wedding videography. They’re both hard to pronounce. We use the term “videography” on our website because we feel it makes you more likely to find us.

2.) Do you recommend any photographers?

We have met some great photographers over the years we would be glad to give you a personal referral to if you fill out our save the date form.

3.) What are your prices?

We make our prices openly available online for your convenience. Just view our packages page and click the .pdf thumbnail on the left side. For a custom package quote, fill out our save the date page with the details of what you’re looking for!

4.) How much is the deposit?

The deposit is $250 for the Platinum or Diamond package and 50% for the Ultimate 3D package.. This secures the wedding date for you so you don’t have to worry about someone else making us an offer we can’t resist. Once you put down a deposit, you’re booked.

5.) Is high definition really all that?

High definition is pretty cool. It won’t change your life, and your kids will probably still look at it and say “Yikes mom and dad, high definition, that’s so early 21st century.” But it’s actually four times the resolution of standard definition, and it will look better on high definition televisions which are designed to sharpen edges and create high contrast pictures. Since wedding videos are for years down the line, I’d recommend having yours in HD so you can feel just a little bit less old in ten years.

6.) Do you provide a draft or proof of the video to be approved or modified?

Upon request only. You must let us know before we send you the DVD’s if you would like to see a proof.

7.) What happens if a videographer gets sick or can’t make it to the wedding?

We find a replacement. If an emergency occurs right before the wedding, such as on route to the wedding, you will receive a full refund, even including the otherwise non-refundable deposit.

8.) Do you travel?

We do travel. We like to travel, especially if it involves flying. You can estimate the travel charge at $0.50 per mile, but it’s going to depend on market conditions, fuel, and all that so make sure to fill out our save the date page so we can let you know for sure. It also depends on the number of camera operators for your wedding. If your wedding is in Lincoln or otherwise within 50 miles, though, it’s on us.

9.) Do you create videos other than wedding videos?

Why yes! We’re part of a super exciting, rapidly growing, larger scale media company. Our sister company in Omaha is Omaha Video Solutions which is designed to meet any of your business or organizational video needs.
