Bethany and Jared’s Wedding

I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of Bethany and Jared’s wedding here in Omaha last Saturday. My favorite part had to have been this clip of the ring-bearer rocking out and taking everybody to school on the dance floor. Check it out:

The wedding was at Christ Community Church – a venue I’ve filmed at before and also call my home church. For weddings, they have a great sound system and wedding coordinator, Alice. Everything at the wedding was so meaningful, from the self-written vows to the music, to the toasts, to the first dance.

At the ceremony, one thing I liked was that the black backdrop create some contrast and made faces stand out well for the video. The bride’s dress stood out especially well with the dark background, which for that reason is better than a light background. Another great thing was that both Bethany and Jared were excited about their wedding video and were totally okay with letting me make some improvements to the church lighting on stage for videography, which requires more light than the human eye to get a good picture. At the reception, there was a fantastic four-course meal, followed by toasts, and then a dance.

They’re going to have a great wedding video to remember the day with!
